Instructions for Authors
General Information
All submitted papers should present research advances. Contributions will be selected based upon their quality as evaluated by at least two reviewers.
All accepted papers must be accompanied by paid conference registration and at least one of the authors has to actually attend the conference and present the paper.
Paper Format
Full papers with a length of up to 6 pages (with a possibility of two additional pages at 100/page), written in English, are to be submitted electronically through the web upload procedure available in the next section. The only allowed formats for the submission are PDF and Postscript.
Authors who cannot submit their papers electronically should send three copies of their papers to the Conference secretariat.
The pages must have an overall width of 17.2 cm, with two columns of 8.25 cm wide each, and 0.7 cm of space between columns. The left margin must have 2.5 cm and the right margin 1.3 cm (considering A4 paper, 21 x 29.7 cm). The upper margin of all the pages must be of 2.5 cm and the length of the text is 23.7 cm (generating a lower margin of 3.5 cm in A4 paper). The pages must not be numbered. Paper title is centered. Authors' names are centered too. The normal text of the paper must be in 11pt.
Footnotes must be numbered and placed at the bottom of the column where they appear. Citations must include the reference number between brackets. References must be sorted by the author name.
All figures must be centered. The number and caption of the figure must always appear below the figure. All tables must be centered and clear. The number and title always appear above the table. The word acknowledgements must be aligned to the left, not numbered and bolded.
